              As we are entering the new financial year let us take a stock of last year EHS performance of last
              year.
              Our sites have reported two major injuries, three first aid injuries, six near misses and a property
              damages altogether 12 incidences in the last year. We target not to have any Fatal and major
              disable injuries in our works. Safety Rates stands at LTIFR -0.77 & LTISR-64.5 which nominal on
              industrial benchmark.


              But we have received 10 penalties from the customer for safety deviations at the sites, which
              should have been prevented. We should ensure that no deviation against the set Safety standards
              /  Practises.  Unsafe  act  &  Unsafe  conditions  shall  be  investigated  properly  and  closed  with
              permanent corrective actions.


              We have initiated 5S to improve house keeping in all sites after having HSE Kaizens into practise,
              which shown a good improvement in all sites, and needs to be driven aggressively for better site
              performance. RED Diamonds (An EHS excellence model) introduced last year and the scores are
              improving on month on month which is an indication of our sites progress on EHS.


              In line of the above I like to re emphasis on our OH&S policy
              We work to continually enhances our health and safety plan to prevent occupational accidents or
              illness, by setting measurable goals and evaluating results”.


              As the industry sector conditions remains most dynamic, we have to work continuously   to
              enhance our health and safety plan. As occupational health & safety is each and every one
              responsibility, it needs everyone in the organisation to work together towards achieving the
              OH&S goal.


              As our objectives is to prevent any major incidence and any notifiable occupational disease in our
              operations, we need to have actions to eliminate the causes which can lead to those. Everyone
              shall have to contribute to the OH&S and Environmental so each one shall be have a goal to
              achieve.


              Key performance indicators shall be identified, reviewed and defined as a individual performance
              as  part  of  performance  management.  The  objectives  /  target  for  each  function  in  terms  of
              achieving EHS targets shall be defined as part of QEHS objectives.

              Everyone involvement is important in achieving E&OH&S goals, so everyone performance on
              achieving EHS objectives / goals shall be appraised.
