                                                             Headaches in Children

                                     1  A surprising number of children as young as four or five suffer from headaches

                                  regularly.   There are a variety of factors that could be causing these headaches

                                  from stress to too much screen time.   To have a better idea of the causes of a child’s
                                  headaches, parents could try to keep a journal of when headaches occur.   However,

                                  before getting too concerned, pediatricians suggest that parents try to make some simple

                                  changes.   For example, some children’s headaches are caused by not getting enough

                                  sleep at night.   Children who are still taken naps during the day may sleep better

                                  without them.   Headaches can also occur when young children are not fed at regular

                                  intervals or are not gave enough water to drink.   Pediatricians usually suggest that
                                  parents try these changes before giving their children headache medication.
