             Now, we know that after accepting Christ into our

          lives  as  our  Lord  and  savior  deems  us  in  right

          standing  with  God  on  our  judgment  day,  but  the

          Bible also clearly urges us to live a life worthy of the

          calling  (or  vocation)  we  have  been  made  for  (see

          Ephesians 4:1). This urging is telling us to live our
          lives according to the laws of the Kingdom of God.


             Jesus was asked a question in Matthew 22:36–40,

          “Teacher,  which  is  the  greatest  commandment  in

          the law?” Jesus replied, “Love the Lord your God

          with all your heart and with all your soul and with all

          your  mind.”  This  is  the  first  and  greatest

          commandment.  And  the  second  is  like  it:  “Love

          your neighbor as yourself.”


             Another question was asked of Jesus, “Who is our

          neighbor?” in Luke 10: 29–37, Jesus told a parable

          of the good Samaritan. Jesus said:

             “A  man  was  going  down  from  Jerusalem  to

          Jericho,  when  he  was  attacked  by  robbers.  They

          stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away,
