Hi Mr. J,
Also ‘hi’ to anyone else who reads this.
I’ll keep this short as being my usual self,
I have left it to the last minute and I
doubt if I even speak 2,000 words a
week, let alone write them down!
My involvement in the band, both
concert band and stage band, I have
found were probably some of the most important
experiences of my school years. I carry the learned
lessons with me continually.
I think the most valuable lesson I learned is that there
are no unimportant parts. Everyone has a vital function,
in music, in society, in life.
At the risk of sounding a bit maudlin, my hat’s off to you
Mr. J. I thank you for being such a
positive influence in my life.
