Hello Mr. Johnson,

Jim Chisholm here. I saw the
article in The Columbian and

I’m happy to hear you’re still

swinging! I am still friends with Eric Olson, we are hiding in
plain sight. As a ma�er of fact, we are both carriers with the

Vancouver post o�ce!

I stayed in band thru senior year, I spent 20 years in Teamster

work and have that much time in at USPS now.

You maintained the right balance of discipline and fun as our

Director. One of my favorite memories was of Mark Seltmann
coaching me up to challenge Ron Edwards for second chair

and I won!

We were sad to see you go and some of the rowdier kids made

Iafrati’s �rst year rough. I hear he had a long career there
despite that.
