This is Jamie Hillend. I saw the article in the paper regarding the 1977 band. It

was nice to hear about your memories of our band and the recording that we made …

I left the area in 1984 to pursue a career in the paper industry. This took me to

Phoenix, New York City and finally Appleton Wisconsin where we have been since
1991. My wife Jennifer and I recently celebrated our 33 year wedding anniversary.

We have two daughters - Madison (22, adopted from Russia) and Sophie (19,

adopted from Mongolia) Both are in college now and enjoyed music until they left
high school. Madison played the oboe & cello, while Sophie played trumpet

Unfortunately I haven’t played the bass since 1986. Business and travel got in the
way of music. I really miss it now, maybe I will pick it back up after I retire in a

few years!
