1. The beauty of our surroundings! We will miss the seasonal views of Thrushwood Lake, espe-

cially the sunsets and the many birds that the lake attracts. Ducks, blue heron, egret, owls

and a variety of birds make the lake their home throughout the year.

2. We will miss the short walk through the woods to NIA where we enjoyed the Trumbull

Farmers Market, hiking trails and time spent at the playground with our grandchildren.

3. We love to entertain outdoors and our home offers three fabulous options. The upper deck

off the main floor is the ideal location for dining al fresco. Head down to the lower level, walk

out to the patio for cocktails and a game of Bocce. Lastly, just around the side of the home is

a secluded patio that’s just perfect for winding down at the end of the day.

4. As Trumbull residents we are so fortunate to have Tashua Knolls golf course. 27 holes and so

reasonably priced. Also, they offer a summer camp for kids.

5. We have enjoyed so many Thrushwood Lake Association activities throughout the years.

Bonfires, beach parties, skating, fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming are just

out the front door. There’s something for everyone! Also, our neighborhood streets are safe

for walking, strolling or biking.

6. One of our favorite activities that we will miss will be biking through Twin Brooks Parks and

the Pequonnock Valley Greenway Rails to Trails.

7. We have appreciated that there’s really no heavy traffic throughout the town and there are

great shopping options nearby.

8. Our home’s location offers quick access to all the major highways: Merritt Parkway, Routes 8

and 25 as well as I-95. Also, the Metro North train station is 12 minutes away.

9. We will miss our property! Although it’s a one acre lot, we do not have to maintain so much

of it. The wooded wetlands offer us privacy and are home to such beautiful wildlife. This low

maintenance lifestyle allows us more time to spend with family, friends and taking in the

activities we enjoy.

10. There are tons of great local restaurants within just 5 minutes.
