TOP 10 THINGS WE WILL MISS ABOUT 80 HENDERSON ROAD

            1. Ultra-Convenient Location – walking and driving:

                 • Walking to Dairy Queen on a warm summer evening and getting treats for everyone,
                    including our dog!
                 • Cycling to South Pine Creek Beach and taking an early evening beach walk.
                 • Walking to the train to go into the City for a show – and not needing a train parkin pass!
And walk to the station to catch the Metro-North the closest Amtrak station (Bridgeport
or Stamford) for a trip to Boston or DC.
                 • The 10-minute walk to town for dinner at Old Post Tavern and a concert at the FTC.

                 • Taking our dog for a walk and always seeing 1 or 2 neighbors for a quick chat.
                 • The quick access to I-95 to go ANYWHERE.

            2. The garage – and all the space for our motorcycles, scooters, SUPs, Kayaks and so much
                 more.

            3. The master bath – I will especially miss the huge walk-in shower and unwinding after a
                 long day.

            4. Watching a movie in the living room on a cold winter night with a rip-roaring fire keeping

                 us toasty and cozy.

            5. Having friends over for dinner, gathering and cooking in the fabulous kitchen and dining
                 on our private patio.

            6. Hanging out in the loft with our son while he puts on a one-man concert on his bass

                 guitar.

            7. The annual Henderson Road block party!

            8. Bringing in my next door neighbor’s morning paper and having a quick chat before
                 starting work.

            9. Halloween on Henderson Road! The younger kids and their parents parade from the end
of the street to the beginning before launching into the trick-or-treating. It’s one of the

best nights of the year on Henderson Road – our kids (now 18 and 22) still talk about it!

           10. The strong sense of community on the street – pulling together when tragedy strikes a

neighbor with meal trains, surprise deliveries of homegrown herbs and veggies, our next-
door neighbor mowing our front lawn while they’re doing their lawn. It’s truly a one-of-a-
                 kind neighborhood .
