TOP TEN THINGS WE WILL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT 91 ALGONQUIN ROAD

1. Enjoying our enormous pool, we loved doing laps while the kids played basketball or swam in

the shallow end.

2. We will miss these beautiful grounds... Swinging under the big oak trees, playing baseball in the

yard (with enough room for a FULL game!), late night tennis under the lights, gifting honey from

our apiary, the list goes on.

3. Cooking in the kitchen while the kids did their homework at our huge island.

4. The 4th of July parties with the whole family... toddlers jumping on the trampoline, tweens

skateboarding and playing basketball on the tennis court, teenagers around the firepit, and

setting off fireworks in the yard.

5. Decorating the house for Christmas, this house is beautiful during the holidays. For one, the

ceiling height allows for a huge Christmas tree or two, the grand staircase cloaked in boughs,

an enormous wreath illuminating the outside of the house, a wealth of mantelpieces for the

stockings.

6. The abundance of entertainment spaces: ping pong in the basement, a game of pool in the den,

cards in the library, movies in the attic...

7. The housework practically does itself: 2 dishwashers, 2 washing machines, 2 dryers, 2

refrigerators, 2 ovens, large closets and a laundry chute!

8. Taking a long deep soaking bath in the master bathroom.

9. Walking to Brooklawn Country Club with our neighbors: playing paddle, walking our dogs on

the golf course, sledding, bowling, eating lobster rolls, and attending their events.

10. Afternoon tea parties in the summers under the grapevines.
