What made you fall in love with 49 Regent Court?

The area is really what we fell in love with first. This was a move-in ready home that we were
able to walk into with our young family — all we needed to do was pick up the keys. The cul-
de-sac location gave us peace of mind for safety, and the flat backyard provided the perfect
outdoor space. Beyond the home itself, the location offered the best of both worlds: we could
still enjoy our nighttime adventures in downtown Stamford, while also having easy access to
childcare, doctors, and daily conveniences.

Describe the renovation process.

We did not do any major renovations, but we’ve made meaningful upgrades that add
comfort and value. We painted the home, installed a new central air unit for the upstairs
zone (2022/2023), and added a new hot water heater. We also updated light fixtures, added
new appliances (dryer and dishwasher), and made small touches that kept the home fresh
and modern.

Why are you moving?

We are moving because we have an opportunity to live closer to family, so our children can
grow up surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. This was an extremely
difficult decision — we truly love the community we’ve built here and the neighbors who
have become friends.

Will you miss the neighborhood?

Yes — absolutely. This neighborhood is special. There are families of all ages, and everyone
is caring, generous, and connected. We come together for big events, share potluck dinners,
and often just gather outside while the kids play. The cul-de-sac really brings back that
nostalgic 1990s feeling of kids riding bikes and playing outside after dinner.
