Q: What made you fall in love with this home
A: We fell in love with the spacious eat-in KIitchen, the great open layout throughout, and the
finished Lower Level was perfect for our growing family. My husband loved the backyard that’s
what really sold us on this home. We were coming from the city with no space and this was the
perfect amount for us and the land offered all the adventure we could want for our kids!
Q: Please describe the renovation process (if you renovated of course)
A: We have done a series of projects since we have moved in. Before moving in we put in
hardwood floors in the entire upstairs, it used to be all carpeting. We added character dormers
to the front of the home for more light. We renovated the Powder Room in 2007, put in new
Lower Level floors for the kid's playroom, and brand new front entry walkway masonry. More
recently in 2023 we did brand new plaster and retiling of the pool, brand new vinyl siding
replacement, roof, and Primary Bathroom were all re-done in 2018. Fresh landscaping and
pool fence within the last 10 years, we re-did our shed in 2023, installed an in outdoor shower
2023, a new tree house in 2010, Chicken coop 2021, raised bed garden 2021 and to finish off
this year we have done fresh paint on interior throughout as well as a new cooktop!
Q: Why are you moving?
A: My husband is relocating to Indiana for work and our kids are graduating high school so it’s
the right time to move for us although we will sorely miss this home!
