TOP 10 THINGS WE'LL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT 230 NOD HILL ROAD
1. Views from our Kitchen window of wildlife that wander into our back
yard, like deer, turkeys, owls and hawks. Views of the flowering trees in the
spring, the shimmering of the water in the reservoir in winter, and the lush
jungle green of the yard, trees and landscaping in the height of summer.
2. Enjoying the pool and basking in the sun in our park-like setting of our entire
property with complete privacy from our neighbors in the summer and watching our
dogs and kids have a blast in the snow during those winter-wonderland months.
3. Being close to both Wilton town center and to Ridgefield town center with easy
access to grocery shopping at my favorite grocery store, the Wilton Village Market, and
dinner at our favorite Ridgefield restaurant, Luc’s.
4. Ease of turning on the gas fireplaces at the push of a button for that warm cozy
feeling as we watch the snow fall outside. Also, the toasty wood burning fires in the
fireplace outside during the summer.
5. The ability to fit seven cars into our "4-car-plus" garage to get them out of
the snow storm and make way for the snowplow guy (seven cars - including a
Suburban, a pick-up truck, three SUV’s and two convertibles!)
6. Cooking in my magnificent chef’s kitchen while my daughter did her homework
sitting near me at the spacious island or while watching cooking shows on the
hidden TV above the microwave.
7. The ability to entertain and throw lavish parties for 50 to 100 people and more,
inside and outside! We threw an annual holiday party in December, and a very
large outdoor party for my husband’s employees under tents in the summer.
8. Holiday and special occasion meals with family and friends around our dining
room table that easily sat 12 with lots of room to spare in the spacious dining room.
9. The kids bedrooms that were their havens - each big enough to accommodate a
queen-sized bed, large comfy chair to read in and a desk for homework. Plus, all with
large closets and en-suite bathrooms!
10. Amazing neighbors and friends so close by. Our neighbors we share a driveway with are
wonderful!!
