Secondary Avenue Awards Ceremony
The 15th Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya was held with great
success with the participation of 300+ participants. Although we were not able to hold the event
physically due to the adverse conditions prevailing in the country at the time, we were able to
conduct the necessary proceedings successfully via online platforms. This was the very first virtual
Installation Ceremony conducted by the club. Despite all challenges, we still managed to carry out the
ceremony with all the formalities in the virtual presence of our Club members, past members, fellow
Rotaractors, and all the guests and officially passed the legacy to the incoming President Rtr. Ravindu
Seneviratne and his Board of Directors for the year 2020/2021.
The event was graced by the President of the Rotary Club of Kandy, Rtn. Paul Harris Fellow Dr. Asoka
Amunugama as our chief guest and the District Rotaract Representative, Rtn. Rtr. PP. Kasun Sigera.
We also had the pleasure of seeing many fellow Rotaractors from other Rotaract Clubs and received
their heartfelt felicitations.
