Many famous characters were involved in this event and they presented their talents live to the

audience. They performed in several categories such as comedy, music, and magic, which made the

virtual event even more colorful. The distinguished guests included Mrs. Reeni De Silva, Mr. Vindula

Nicola Attygala, Mr. Yasas Gunarathne, Mr. Dilshan Wasala, Mr. Ravi Royster and Samare & Samare

who were invited for the event. The organizing committee also organized an Open Mic session,

Christmas decoration competition, and a Kahoot Quiz to entertain participants. This provided an

opportunity for everybody to take part in the event and be active instead of just watching their

screens. Every participant who joined with the raffle draw and quiz, as well as decoration

competition, was given gifts for their achievements.

The “Cyber Xmas 2020” was arranged as the annual year-end get-together of the club to provide

entertainment and a new experience to everyone. This event was a great way for people who were

getting stressed and under tension at home and also could not celebrate Christmas this year. It was a

great and innovative opportunity for everybody regardless of culture and creed to get virtual

entertainment and release stress built up on the minds due to the pandemic situation prevailing in

the country. Another objective of this project was to collect the funds needed for the upcoming

Rotaract year. The funds are used to organize numerous projects planned for the year 2020, which

will help to make the community a better place for children and adults alike. The raffle draw held in

tandem with Cyber Xmas served as the fundraiser.
