We wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to you for funding the class trips to
the Van Gogh experience. This really was an amazing opportunity for
Hannah More children - and one that neither the school nor our families
would have been able to pay for without your support.
From this year, each child is recording some of the ‘extras’ that school
offers. These ‘Chronicles’ are special books which children will keep
throughout their school life - helping them to reflect on some of the wider
experiences we are able to offer them. You can see an example in the picture
below, and there’s also a couple of picture of the trips on the next page. Going to the
Van Gogh experience was a marvellous way for many of the children to start off their
book of special experiences!
We very much hope that we may be able to approach your charity for support for
another amazing experience in due course.
If there’s any further information that you’d like, please let us know. It would also be
a pleasure to introduce you to my successor, Sarah Franke, at some stage. She has
taken on the day-to-day Community Development role at school – I’m still around in
the background, primarily in connection with our own small Friends’ charity.
