MY JOURNEY OF MAKING A MODEL
I am a curious learner who always wants to collect information about space. When I got an opportunity to
participate in an Inter-School Competition, I was very excited and wanted to give my best. The instructions of
the competition directed the participants to make rocket models like PSLV- C45, GSLV and GSLV – MK III. I
decided to make PSLV-C45. I used 2 cardboard tubes, paper, glue gum and paints. It took me eight hours to
make the model. I took the reference of PSLV- C45 from ISRO website and finally my project came to fruition.
Unfortunately, I was unable to upload the images of my model on website due to some technical problem. That
day I felt very sad and thought that my hard work had gone down the drain. But my mother encouraged me by
saying "Participation is more important than winning. “She did not let me lose hope and encouraged me to keep
myself ready for the new opportunities.

BOOK REVIEW
Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls
Lockdown period was a boon to me as I fulfilled my dream of reading.
The book I like the most is ‘Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls.’
This book is especially for girls.
It breaks the stereotypes like –
‘Girls can't do everything.’
‘Girls should always look beautiful.’
‘Girls are not brave.’
‘They are just meant to be home makers and to take care of their family.’
This book is about girls who dream high and want to achieve their goal at any cost. It is all about girls who
became mathematicians, writers, pirates, secret agents and what not.
It says "To the Rebel girls- dream bigger, aim higher, fight harder, and when in doubt, remember,"You are
right.”
It is written by Elena Faviliana and Francesesca Cavalio.
I highly recommend every girl to read this book.
