2-2-5 Teaching and learning strategies and assessment methods in the program vary according

to its nature and level, and are aligned with the learning outcomes of the program.

Teaching and learning strategies provide the means by which a curriculum's objectives are

achieved. They are the heart of the curriculum, the educational intervention itself. Teaching and
             learning strategies involve both:

                   • Curriculum contents: refer to specific materials to be included in the curriculum

                   • Teaching and learning Methods: are the ways in which the content is presented.

The choice of teaching and learning methods in the program is based on:

                   • Maintain congruence between PLOs/CLOs and teaching and learning methods.
                   • Use multiple teaching and learning methods.

                   • Choose teaching and learning methods that are feasible in terms of resources.

The major instructional strategies in curriculum are presented in PS (Annex S2-2-5-1, Program
             Specification, page No.28-30).

            Assessment Methods:

Describe assessment methods (Direct and Indirect) that can be used to measure achievement of

program learning outcomes in every domain of learning. The assessment relies on a combination

of direct and indirect measurements to produce and corroborate evidence (Annex S2-2-5-2
             Report of PLOs 1444).

2-2-6: The program verifies the effectiveness of field training and the quality of its supervision
and follows up on the commitment of its operators to their mandated tasks according to specific

            mechanisms.

Summer training is classified as one of the most important basic pillars that contribute to the

development of society and the realization of the Kingdom’s vision. Summer training helps
students to enhance their practical skills, which are very important in the mechanical engineering

applications fields. They learn how to use various tools and machines and how to troubleshoot

various problems. Application for summer training usually begins at the beginning of the fourth

week of the third semester and continues for three weeks. There is a clear plan for summer
