training in the mechanical engineering program to help students that includes a summer training

guide (Annex S2-2-6-1 Summer training guide - Faculty of Engineering), (Annex S2-2-6-2 Summer

training guide - Mechanical Engineering Program) and summer training evaluation form (Annex
             S2-2-6-3 Summer Training Evaluation Form).

Training requests are sent by the department's training coordinator to summer training entities

and then, the approval letters come back from the training entity to the Mechanical Engineering
Program (Annex S2-2-6-4 Examples of Approval Letters from the Training Entity).

At the end of the summer training, the field training supervisor evaluates the student and sends

that assessment to the department’s training coordinator (Annex S2-2-6-5 Field Supervisor

Evaluation Form for the Student). The summer training internship discussion is implemented in

the department to assess performance of students in summer training (Annex S2-2-6-6 Summer
Training Internship Discussion Form). All evaluation reports are reviewed at the end of the field

experience period to develop the final report (Annex S2-2-6-7 Summer Training Report).

2-2-7: The program ensures a unified application of its study plan as well as the program and the

course specifications offered at more than one site (sections of male and female students and

                                 *
            different branches).
There are no departments for female students, and there are no other college branches.

However, the program guarantees a unified application of course specification for courses taught
in other departments within the college.

The Study plan (Annex S2-2-7-1 Study Plan of the Mechanical Engineering Program) and program

specification (Annex S2-2-7-2 Program Specification) should be considered as a coordinated
package of learning experiences within which all the components contribute to the learning

             expected of students.

The unified application of the study plan, program specification and courses are achieved as

             follows:

From a curriculum level perspective: The course specifications are prepared by course
committees (Annex S2-2-7-3 Sample of course specification). The course coordinator and course

committee develop the course timetable for all groups at faculty level.
