FOUNDRY PRODUCTION

When placed inside the tubular structure, the partitions can expand or tighten the tubular
structure from the inside with the partition, changing its external size. In this case, parts of
the walls are deformed and bent, in the place of bending on them, performing wedge-shaped
selections from the side of the formation of the concave surface. Thus, the shape and size of the
cross-section of the tubular structure is changed. In contrast to nanotubes from the microworld,
flat model elements can be rolled into more complex shapes, in particular, so that in a cross-
section with an S-shaped bend, a structure of two joined tubes in a cross-section in the form of a
figure 8 can be obtained. Spatial lattice structures (including meshes with different cell shapes),
depending on the options for folding flat elements using wedge selections that facilitate folding,
can be made not only tubular, close to the shape of a cylinder, but also other geometric shapes.
For example, in the form of a polyhedron, or similar to the configuration of a fullerene, close to
    ellipsoidal or spherical.
The thickening on the model, made in the form of a lock 3 (Fig. 6) assembled and located
along the entire model, it is advisable to use in the foam model to be gasified as a riser or
manifold of the gating system and for this purpose it should be carried out according to the
calculated dimensions of the gating system. This thickening can be made in a form close to the
shape of a cylinder, and when molding the tubular model vertically, you can also add a section
of the riser to it, which is completed from above with a pouring bowl or funnel.
