FOUNDRY PRODUCTION
Findings
Frame and cellular metal structures are proposed to be cast according to gasified models.
A number of examples of such castings, made according to analogs from animate and inanimate
nature, are described. These products are classified as materials of the future, they will expand
the existing range of properties of metal products and have the potential to be used in structures
interacting with the volume or flow of matter or energy, as well as a backbone for reinforced,
composite materials and internal coolers for ingots and shaped castings.
