FANTASTIC CASTING OF SPATIAL FRAME-CELLULAR
STRUCTURES

One of the options for obtaining a model from elements in a reusable form is as follows.
Prefabricated polyhedrons like those shown in Fig. 2, 3, with sizes from several to tens, hundreds
of millimeters c 2 or more, with open through cavities as in Fig. 4, fall asleep or put it manually
into the shaping container 2 (Fig. 5). Preliminarily, an air-tight bag made of synthetic film 3
is placed there. After filling these repeating elements, the cavity of the bag is evacuated and
sealed with a clamp 5, thereby fixing the polyhedrons in a single model by pressing them
against each other by the difference in air pressure outside and inside the bag.
