August-September, 2016 Youth Group Swim Lessons
1 to 1 Elite Swim Lessons: $40 resident; $48 non-resident
Exclusive one-on-one swim lessons focused on improving swimming skills. Sessions includes four (4) 20-minute lessons, two
lessons a week for two weeks. Saturday session is four consecutive Saturdays for 20 minutes.

Beginners Swimming: $35 resident; $42 non-resident
*Session 2, M/W class will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 and Friday, September 9, 2016
Sessions includes eight (8) 30-minute lessons, two lessons a week for four weeks.
Bubblers—is intended for children who have had little or no experience in the water. Focus on water exploration, floating on front
and back with assistance, blowing bubbles, retrieving objects underwater. Ages 3 to 6, class minimum 3; maximum 8
Puffers—become comfortable underwater. Develop streamline body position, effective kicking, introduction to freestyle arm stroke,
floating on back, and introduction of rhythmic breathing. Ages 3 to 6, class minimum 3; maximum 8
Floaters—gain independence in the water and coordination of forward motion. Perfect the streamline position, learn to inhale and
exhale while making forward progress. Ages 4 to 8, class minimum 3; maximum 8
Strokers—is to increase endurance in swimming freestyle—the goal of Level III swimmers is to swim a length of the pool using the
freestyle stroke with improved technique and rhythmic breathing to the side. The skills practiced in this course include dive in from
the side from a kneeling position; elementary backstroke; and, retrieval of an object from the bottom of the pool without support.
