TOP TEN FESTIVALS ON THE WILD ATLANTIC WAY TRAVEL
CELTIC FRINGE FESTIVAL
The Celtic Fringe Festival, in September 2016, celebrates artists from the Celtic regions of Spain, England,
Ireland and Scotland whose traditions are linked with Ireland through the voyage of the Spanish Armada in
1588. The voyage is an epic story in maritime history, which will be explored by researchers and key speakers
during the festival events, along with celebrating Spanish and Irish music.

BIA BÓ FINNE: INISHBOFIN FOOD FESTIVAL
There’s plenty to see and do on the picturesque haven that is Inishbofin (from the Irish Inis Bó Finne which
translates as ‘Island of the White Cow’). And its small size means it’s really easy to navigate and explore.
Boasting Green Coast Awarded sandy white beaches, an equestrian centre and numerous stunning walks,
Inishbofin is the perfect setting for this October festival, which celebrates the sumptuous array of fresh organic
foods produced there.
