Our Style at Retirement Retirement
is wonderful.
 By now your wardrobe should be 60:40 (or even It’s doing nothing
70:30) – 60 percent investment (which doesn’t mean without worrying
dull, it means well-made pieces that you love, suit you about getting caught
perfectly and that you plan to keep for a long time) and
40 percent of the moment. at it.
Gene Perret
 Never rule out a new trend if it SUITS you (suits your
body shape, colouring and your new lifestyle). That
new trend has to match your face!

 Remember that personal style still rules: if you’ve
always been a hippie, don’t stop now. You just don’t
need the poncho and the bangles and the clogs and the
headscarf. Try one of them at a time!

 Frills and fussy lines on you are instantly aging. Clean,
simple lines look sharpest. Anything too ladylike after
a certain age will look stuffy….you want to avoid the
frump factor!

 Finally, watch your weight. Being underweight can
often look worse than a few extra pounds. It may not
be possible to be too rich but you certainly can be too
thin!
