TADHG DALY, CHIEF EXECUTIVE
Tadhg is the chief spokesperson and representative of the organisation. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors and his key role is to
promote the objectives of the organisation and to influence policy makers. The CEO’s role is to develop and maintain a positive relationship
with all stakeholders including members, the general public, statutory and voluntary bodies which work to promote the best interests of older
people, Government Departments, HSE, HIQA, NTPF and other relevant agencies.

GAYNOR RHEAD, PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR
With responsibility for all clinical matters directed through the organisation. Gaynor represents NHI on a number of national and local
working groups aimed at improving standards, educating and providing support and guidance to staff with the vision for improving the care
given to our older population. In addition the role of the Practice Development Facilitator is to review international practice and research to
assist in the development of new initiatives within the Irish nursing home sector. Gaynor reports to the Board of Directors through the CEO
and assists in driving the agenda of the National Nursing Committee.

MICHAEL MCGLYNN, COMMUNICATIONS AND RESEARCH OFFICER
With responsibility for managing the communications, research and information functions of Nursing Homes Ireland. Responsible for the
planning, development and delivery of NHI internal and external communications including media, website, member’s communications
and publications. Responsible for the research function of NHI to contribute to the wider policy objectives and work programme of the
organisation.

GRÁINNE HANLY, PROJECT OFFICER NURSE RECRUITMENT
With responsibility for the planning and delivery of a successful nurse recruitment campaign (domestic and international) for NHI members.
As part of this campaign, Gráinne will develop, implement and deliver the recruitment action plan and agreed priorities, liaise with appropriate
statutory and non-statutory agencies and organisations, both domestic and international and develop and maintain strong working
relationships with all stakeholders to maximise and deliver on the recruitment of nurses for NHI members. Gráinne will also be responsible
for the coordination and ongoing development of NHI’s recruitment website.
