Little extras …

• Having managed the voluntary bankruptcy of my
company by a shareholder seeking to rob me of
HI-System and, more importantly, of its revenues.
• Having won all legal proceedings.

• Daring to diversify by creating a "fashion house", Via
Fontana Fashion.
• Having been impressed by the stature of the IRE's
managing director, René CONSTANT, PhD in chemistry.
Sometimes a manipulator, but always determined to
reach his goals.
Among his many wisecracks during a management
meeting, this one struck a chord with me:
He raised his open hand to the level of the lower lip of his
mouth, and said:
" When you've got s… up to here, you're smart enough not
to rock the boat!"

2. Some lowlights
• The decisions taken when MONACO Informatique was
set up and the lack of rigorous management.

• Having agreed to leave the IBS group and become my
own boss, but not having sufficiently prepared a real
business plan and a 3-year financial plan.
• At HORIZON ICT, having chosen to work with a single
bank, having decided to develop HI-Distribution using its
own funds instead of applying for an investment loan.
