• Relative notion of happiness
The universe is 14 billion years old, the earth is 4 billion
years old, man on earth is 4 million years old, one life on
earth - if all goes well - is 80 years; in other words, almost
no time at all and, despite this, there are people who will
do anything to get into trouble, to avoid being happy.
• Jerks on the road
… and it's not like those Harley-Davidson-riding jerks
with their road barge who only go out on Sundays when
the weather's nice …
• The word "complexity"
I've NEVER used that word. It's not part of my
vocabulary. To use it highlights your limitations: not a
very good idea!
Some people abuse of it. I suppose they want to show that
they are capable of understanding or solving "complex"
things.
That's not my vision. For me, I like to use the expression
"it's not easy": it still leaves room for improvement.
• "Interesting" time
When I encounter too many setbacks or problems, I say:
"I've had an interesting time". In 1990, a few months after
