WORLD POPULATION DAY

“Population explosion around the globe.It is reported that

every 12 years, another billion population is added to the

globe’s population.” Keeping this in mind the UN General

Assembly decided to observe 11 of July as the World

Population Day.

In order to make the children aware of the effects of the

growing population, The World Population Day was

celebrated by the students of Rajendra Nagar Campus 1 on

the 11 of July, 2020. On this day a special assembly was

conducted in which the teachers discussed with the students

some interesting facts related to the global population .They

also shared ways in which a country’s population can

contribute in the upliftment of the Nation. The children made

facts book on which they wrote different facts related to the

global population. They made posters and drawings and

wrote slogans and facts on World Population Day.
