The Rotary Club
The Rotary Club of Mountain View is a community-based organization that has been a pillar of
the community since 1997. This committed group of individuals, businesses, and professionals
has united to build goodwill and peace in the world. The club is driven by the motto “Service
Above Self,” and engages in service projects to improve the quality of life in the local and global
community. In our local community, our efforts have provided schools with drug prevention
and education programs, supplied the community with a nature park and outdoor classroom,
offered thousands of dollars in scholarships for graduates continuing their education beyond
high school, supported community youth outreach programs,
furnished special needs students with equipment to learn
hands-on life skills, and much more. Our global outreach has
supported the Rotary International goal to eradicate polio as
well as working with other Rotary Clubs globally to provide
communities with clean drinking water. The Mountain View Rotary Club
has monthly fellowship meetings at Viandel Vineyard on the first Tuesday of
the month at 6:00 pm.

MORE FOR VETERANS" than the VFW. Which is dedicated to veteran's

every conflict in between. We boast a membership of 92 which is about 4% of our communities popula-

system. Each year awards are awarded to students that excel. Two of our current programs are "Patriot's Pen"
and "Voice of Democracy". Students who participate may receive a cash award locally, District level, State lev-
el and at the National level with national awards totaling
$55,000.00. We are currently looking at implementing
a weighted scholarship program for students of Liberty
