WHEN I SAT TO WRITE
When I sat to write,
My mind picked a fight,
What to write, what not to write,
Oh I was in a plight.
My fingers twitched to pen down something,
My teachers wanted me to put- up something,
Thus my pen began to flow,
With words uttering 'Let us go'...
At once I stopped amidst,
My eyes went through the script
Oh my God! What have I done?
I had broken all the rules, obeying not even one!
Thus my long neat paper crumbled,
Into the dustbin was it transferred.
In the agony I lost my mood,
Which had not served me so good.
Empty handed I went to school,
My friends with handful stayed cool.
But I eased my mind;
"Look for a second chance,Never mind!"
