Enjoying some healthy taste testing during Science Week
Abby shows a budding Scientist from St Gabriel’s the way around the lab
Later in the year, our Year 7 students were pleased to welcome students from St Gabriel’s 6th class, to the labs. The Year 7s showed them around the labs and helped them set up some experiments of their own to explore temperature, solar energy and mechanics.
We’ve also welcomed some new additions to our equipment stores - a spirometer, model torso, wireless microscope, wireless weather station and a whole new set of iPads just for Science classes. We are adding new apps all the time, including Britannica – Endangered Species and Coral Reefs, Mad Lab, Toca Lab and more.
Well done to all Science students for their hard work in what has been a very productive year!
