 The Nominees in the Forza: Excellence in Leadership Award are:
Amy Nikolovski is the Managing Partner of DBH Lawyers and a trailblazer in the South Australian legal profession. As the youngest woman to lead a major law firm in the state, she is a respected specialist in personal injury and estate litigation, and a passionate advocate for equity, cultural inclusion, and women in leadership. Amy’s leadership is shaped by her family's migrant legacy and her mother's determination to break generational barriers. From reforming legal education to mentoring women across industries, Amy leads with authenticity, courage, and community impact.
Dr. Barbara Toson is a Senior Biostatistician and Research Fellow at Flinders University with over 20 years of international experience in applied health research. She has made significant contributions to public health in Australia, particularly in sleep medicine, ageing, and respiratory health. Barbara has co- authored 70+ peer-reviewed publications and secured over $6.8 million in research funding. A former President of the Statistical Society of Australia (SA Branch), she is a recognised leader in statistics, mentorship, and gender equity.
Daniella Colicchio is a senior leader with extensive experience across government, private sector, and international forums including UN, G20, APEC, OECD, and ILO. A policy and program expert, she has shaped strategic initiatives in skills, employment, and small business growth. Daniella has mentored young leaders, led community and board roles, and actively contributes to the Italian-Australian community. Her resilience, dedication, and expertise make her an inspiring leader and role model for future generations.
Eleonora Finoia is a passionate community leader and long-serving Community Engagement Officer at Radio Italiana 531AM. For over 18 years as a volunteer and 10 years in her current role, she has empowered women, preserved Italian culture, and strengthened intergenerational ties. Eleonora manages 115 volunteers and 50 radio programs, while leading major cultural and fundraising events. A gifted communicator, she creates space for women’s voices, mentors emerging leaders, and fosters inclusion.
Enza Ferraro is a senior banking executive and leader, known for building values-driven cultures that deliver outstanding customer and business outcomes. Enza draws strength from her migrant roots, using her lived experience to champion cultural heritage, inclusion, and gender equity. As a former Chair of Women of Westpac SA, she advocated for genuine diversity and flexible work. Through mentoring, public advocacy, and community engagement, Enza empowers others to lead with purpose, courage, and compassion.
