Now Chair of the Adelaide Italian Festival, Gina uses her strategic skills to uplift and connect generations. Her governance roles with organisations like HomePlace and the Coordinating Italian Committee reflect her deep commitment to equity and inclusion.
Livia D’Aloia has dedicated over 43 years to teaching Italian in South Australian public schools, inspiring thousands of students through her passion, innovation, and inclusive approach. She has led successful sister school exchanges, mentored future educators, and supported students from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed. As a long-standing SAATI committee member and Treasurer, she has championed Italian language education and teacher support across the state. Her leadership in VET, FLO, and curriculum development has created lasting impact in both academic and vocational pathways
Luisa Greco is a passionate, first-generation Italian-Australian leader who has dedicated over 20 years to advancing the Italian and broader multicultural community. From aged care innovation at CO.AS.IT. to transforming the Campania Club and serving as Chair of the SA Multicultural Commission, Luisa's impact spans grassroots service, policy, governance, and cultural preservation. Rebecca Staltari has devoted herself to South Australia’s Italian community with quiet dedication and care. As President of Nonnas Cucina (2019–2025), she strengthened food security, social connection, and volunteer engagement, guiding the organisation through COVID-19 and a major relocation. A hands- on leader, Rebecca fosters inclusion, supports vulnerable people, and builds bridges across community groups, all while balancing family and professional life.
Dr. Roberta De Bei is a plant physiologist with a background in viticulture research. She completed her PhD in viticulture, enology, and marketing at the University of Padova, and she is now a senior scientist and Director at Plant & Food Research Australia. Passionate about science communication, she supports Italian-Australian research through ARIA and collaborates with the Italian Embassy and Consulate on public science events.
Tania Nikolitsis is an award-winning interior designer, business owner, and respected industry leader. Founder of Tanik Design, she transforms South Australian residential spaces with creativity, technical excellence, and client-focused collaboration. A KBDi-accredited designer and mentor, Tania has won the SA Medium Kitchen Design Award and was a Designer of the Year finalist. She actively shares knowledge, advocates for ethical practice, and empowers others, leaving a lasting impact on clients, colleagues, and the design community.
