team. He has super cute smile which was a deception for opposition when he bowled those tight line and length pace deliveries.

What a season for U12 Reds! With two teams merging from last year, the boys had a combination of familiar faces and new friends to make. It took a while for them to gel as a team through the first part of the season, but once they found their rhythm put through some spectacular team performances and ended up just missing out on a top 4 finish. Amazing team-first ethos and focus on building each other up rather than sledging the opposition. This team has some great abilities but bowling was a standout as they all improved their line and length consistency over the season.
So many great highlights and memories! Thank you to all the parents who helped out this season.
Sharbarish - is there anyone more committed to his cricket than Sharbarish? Always dangerous whether with the ball, ball or behind the stumps. Well deserving of the team bowling award!
Ryan - such a consistent contributor! One of our top 2-3 line & length bowlers and was able to secure some very timely breakthrough wickets - with one of our best economy rates.
Bhagath - our batting powerhouse! Second highest run scorer across our age grade and really developed his sense of when it is time to attack vs defend on top of some great off-side shot play
Raghav - be careful bowling anywhere near the leg side as Raghav will dispatch you to the boundary with barely a flick of the bat! Amazing timer of the ball.
Matt - another all-rounder, Matt is also a natural leader. He always shows the utmost respect to umpires and opposition, not to mention saving the team's bacon multiple times with his solid batting.
Jay - one of our three highly effective slow bowlers. Watch the opposition get bamboozled with Jay's looping flighted deliveries that generated a lot of catching opportunities as batsmen got frustrated. Very accurate fielding to score some runouts too.
Blake - our team award winner for most improved! Both his batting and bowling have improved greatly - especially his scoring ability as he starts to be more selective on the big shots.
Angus - amazing all round development across batting and especially fierce when opening the bowling. Angus saved SO MANY runs with his exceptional keeping work behind the stumps.
Aahren - another of our consistent line and length bowlers. Aahren was so good at keeping opposition strike rate down, with a great bowling action and some exceptional fielding
Ethan - great opening bowler! Took both opener wickets for 2 matches in a row, including the game against Kissing Point that setup our 10 wicket victory! Clutch player!
Jeremy - another spinner who improved a lot over the season as he started to find his length more consistently. Great economy rate with at least 2 wicket maiden overs!
Looking forward to seeing what these boys can do next year - top 4 for sure! Ben Schick - Team Manager

U12s had a great season, finishing 1st on the leaderboard and making the Grand Final, losing by only 13 runs against a fantastic opposition who were too good on the day. Including the GF, the team only lost two games all season, which was a wonderful effort. Congratulations to all of our players and to
