C. Preposition of Place
Look at the following picture carefully before we learn about preposition of place.

a. In = ‘In’ has a similar meaning to ‘on’, the object is within or inside something.
b. On = On’ means that is something is in a position that is physically touched, covered, or
attached to something else.
c. Under = something below the object.
d. Next to = in or into a position immediately to one side.
e. Between = Between’ normally refers to something in the middle of two objects.
f. Among = in or through the midst of
e. In front of = In front of’ means a place or position directly before anything.
g. Behind = at or to the far side of (something)
h. Above = in or to a higher place than
i. Below = Below’ has a similar meaning to ‘under’. They means in lower position or underneath
something.
j. Near = at or to a short distance away
k. Far = at or to a considerable distance in space
l. at = something near the object
