Harley's Hawaiian trip included sailing and parasailing, riding in a
submarine beneath the waves and then in a helicopter to the top of
Haleakala volcano at 10,000+ feet. After the Elledges flew back
home, Harley and his parents stayed on to visit Oahu Island, to see
        Peal Harbor and Waikiki.

The following summer, Harley and his parents, vagabond travelers,
resolved to visit over 25 states which brought his overall total to 37
states. Harley traveled the Eastern United States with his parents
touching the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, steering a sailboat in Rhode
Island, shopping the Mall of America in Minnesota, and getting
drenched with spray from the Niagara Falls. For good measure, they
crossed the Canadian border to check out Ontario, Canada.
