After Mindy's radio show, Harley and Mindy had fun in the lobby
of the radio show. They posed in front of a Harley Davidson
motorcycle, especially since Harley's character name for the show
was Motorcycle Man. Harley always found it quite easy to smile
exceptionally big when posing with friendly, attractive girls.
Harley had many fun loving, adventurous, competitive friends
from varying groups of peers who all loved to challenge and support
one another, no matter the setting.
Cricket Bidleman and Harley started their relationship as
competitors at the Braille Challenge venue in Los Angeles, California
where they met up every year to compete. Upon introduction to one
another, they usual made statements that they planned to beat each
other. Cricket first learned about Harley's health issues when she was
eight years old. She was petrified to learn about such scary issues as a
brain tumor and astonished that Harley was still filled with such vigor
and determination. Cricket recalls having to really practice for Braille
Challenge competitions ahead of time.
