STEP by STEP Small-mouth Fizzing according to In-Fisherman Magazine

1. Hold the small-mouth on it’s side
2. Lay the pectoral fin flat
3. Measure 1/2 inch toward the tail
4. Raise the scale and push the needle in 1/2 deep and leave it.
5. Move the fish the water without squeezing and watch the bubbles come out of the syringe.
6. Once the bubbles quit remove the needle and release the fish.

NOTE: You can release too much. Once you feel the fish relax in your hand and it begins to right itself, you
are done. You are looking for neutral buoyancy.

Another method mentioned earlier is to fizz fish between the crushers. This particular method is more
