As anglers turned their attention to day two, the weather was once again going to be
a factor. Once again at take-off it was below freezing and foggy, but the fog was not
as heavy as the day before. Things looked to be setting up in similar fashion. How the
anglers would adapt after day one looked to be the biggest question. Boats took off
in reverse order from day one. As it was on day one, the current was rolling. When
the day ended, a lot of anglers made adjustments and even more full bags of fish were
brought to the scale. When the dust settled, Bainbridge,
Georgia’s Pam Martin-Wells remained atop the leader board
by bringing in a limit of fish weighing 7.96 lbs bringing her two day total to 22.61 lbs and a
twelve pound lead over the pack. Secret York of Benton, Kentucky brought 7.21 lbs to the scale
moving her into second place with a two day total of 14.82 lbs. Pam Ridgle of Murchison,
Texas brought 6.21 lbs to the scale holding her solidly in the top three with a total of 14.58 lbs.
Centre, Alabama’s Lisa Johnson brought 6.46 lbs to the scale bringing her to 14.19 lbs. Sitting
in 5th with a big charge was North Richland Hills angler Cheryl Bowden who brought 10.64
lbs to the scales bringing her two day total to 13.62 lbs.

In the Co-Angler division, the top five anglers remained the same with some places shifting around.
Noella McLaurin brought 4.16 lbs to the scale bringing her two day total to 10.87 lbs keeping her atop
the leader board. Also holding on to her second place standing was Diana Uebelhack who brought
in 4.06 lbs bringing her two day total to 10.36 lbs. There were some shifts in third through fifth. Jami
Young jumped to third by bringing in 6.06 lbs to the scale for a total of 9.94 lbs. Sitting in fourth was
Sherry Jacks who caught 4.44 lbs and moved her total of 9.20 lbs. Glyn Ellen Valentine held down the
fifth place position by bringing 2.93 lbs to the scale bringing her two day total to 8.78 lbs.

The Joey Ridgle Septic and Sanitation Big Bass Leaders for day two were Nikki Jo Hatten of
Clanton, Alabama with a 5.22 lb spotted bass and Jami Young of Greentown, Indiana with a
     3.26 lb spot.

The final day pairings placed anglers together based upon their day two standings. Once
again the question arose as to who would be able to make the necessary adjustments based upon the conditions. Unlike
days one and two, the morning temperatures were above freezing and there was very little fog. Also to kick off the day
the TVA was not generating! How would the anglers adjust and would those adjustments pay off at the end of the day.?
According to the online schedule, the TVA was scheduled to start generating at 1:00 PM. That meant that anglers who
were depending on current for their fish would have less than two hours at the end of the day to make their charge.
Warmer and sunnier weather were par for the day. Anglers once again made adjustments and brought limits to the stage
     for weigh in.

Once again at weigh in the Lincoln’s Landing Pavilion was full of spectators in anticipation of the
final outcome of the Lady Bass Classic. Could the leaders and top anglers from days one and two
hold off the field of quality competitors?

For the final day weigh in, anglers would be weighing in reverse order. At the start the weight
to beat was 10.87 lbs for the Co-Angler Division and 22.61 lbs for the Pro Angler Division. For
a short time, North Richland Hills Pro Cheryl Bowden held the lead and sat on the “Hot Seat”.
Cheryl’s final day weight was 9.35 lbs making a three day total of 22.99 lbs. The “Hot Seat” was
soon taken over by the 2022 Angler of the Year Lisa Johnson who managed a 9.02 lb bag bring-
ing her final weight to 23.21 lbs. That lead would soon change as Pam Martin-Wells arrived on
the stage. While Pam struggled on day three bringing only 2.23 lbs to the stage, her day one
advantage was just too much to overcome. Her final weight was 24.84 lbs earning her the title
of 2022 Lady Bass Classic Champion. Adding to her winnings, Pam Martin-Wells also earned
the Toyota Bonus Bucks Contingency and the Costa Compete and Conserve Contingency Award.
