Odyssey of the Mind Teams We’ve got two Odyssey

classes that will be learning about and prepping for the

Odyssey competition in the spring. If you’re interested in

trying this out, sign up for one of the classes (we have an

elementary and a middle school class). You can also

check out the Odyssey of the Mind website, or contact

the teacher, Ginger Maghran at gingerm@cheerful.com.

Yearbook Club – This year we would really like to put

together a digital yearbook that everyone could

purchase/have access to at the end of the year. If you are

interested in this, please contact us! If you’re interested

in running this club, let us know!

Student Assistant Squad – This consists of two groups of

students (7-12yrs and 13+yrs) that want to help with the
various student council events that are hosted

throughout the year. When needed, the Student Council
will send out emails asking for volunteer help. You can

sign up for this group on the Student Council webpage.

Catapult Team – This year we will be designing and

building a brand new catapult for the Pumpkin Toss

competition in 2018 (there will not be a competition

this year). This team will be run by Leigh and Kurt Elkins.

If you are interested in helping with this project, let us

know!

Chess Team – This year we would like to try to pull
together a chess team! If you are interested in joining
or, interested in leading it, let us know!
