          MEADOWLARK COMIC CON 2018

          May 12

               eadowlark Comic Con, a full-scale pop culture and comic conven-
          Mtion, comes to Ramada Medford Hotel and Convention Center May
          12 with an array of celebrity guests from different genres.

          Rogue Valley fans will have a rare opportunity to meet Mindy Sterling,
          known for her role as Frau Farbissina in several Austin Powers films, and
          various TV credits. Sterling will be joined by Keone Young, with his hun-
          dreds of on-screen and voiceover credits.

          Anime fans will be treated to meet and greet with Joe Ochman, the voice
          for numerous characters including Transformers and Pokémon characters.
          Alison MacInnis, Sasha Craig and Jacke will join the roster, along with
          Neyman Jones who starred in the cult classic that many label the “worst
          movie ever made”—Manos: The Hands of Fate.

          No convention is a comic con without professional Marvel and DC artists,
          and Meadowlark has it covered, including Chris Marrinan and Matt Haley.

          Attendees may purchase from exhibitors and creators, play video games,
          meet local cosplayers and fan groups, attend celebrity guest panels, and
          compete in a cosplay contest for a trophy and a cash prize.

            ASHLAND WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL


            May 19, starts at Noon

               ome with your family and friends to join the party and get your global groove on at the Ashland World Music Festival! Ashland Parks &
           CRecreation Commission and Rogue World Music are pleased to bring you the 3rd Annual FREE outdoor festival featuring live music,
            dance and fun in Lithia Park.

            The family-friendly event is scheduled for Saturday, May 19 in Lithia Park and features outdoor concerts from noon to 6 p.m. at the Butler
            Bandshell (150 Winburn Way in Lithia Park), followed by international folk dancing until 8:30 p.m. at the Ashland Community Center (59
            Winburn Way in Lithia Park). In addition to music and dance, enjoy a variety of ethnic food and beverages available from local vendors. Stay
            tuned for the release of this year’s exciting line-up.
