FENCES WINERY
t the 2018 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, where
Aover 7,000 of the most renowned wineries contend, Southern
Oregon’s very own Fences Winery walked away with two prestigious
awards. As a producer of boutique red wine, they received Best in
Class for their 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon and a silver medal for their
2014 Reserve Cabernet. Tired of the “fenced-in” feeling of New York,
owners Jody and David Lennon packed up and followed their dream
of living on the West Coast making wine. Their journey is nothing
short of inspiring, and they hope to encourage others to embark on
their own journey over a glass of Fences wine at the vineyard or other
community events.
