A NEW COASTAL TAPROOM
BANDON RAIN
he next time you go to the coast, you have another option for
Tbeverages and coming soon, small plates. The new Bandon Rain
Taproom, located on 2nd Street in Bandon, is now open to the public.
Pints, taster trays and growlers to go will be poured in a rustic setting
outfitted with a variety of old growth wooden tables and reclaimed
cranberry harvest materials—the perfect nod to the region’s trade-
mark industry. This space represents an important expansion for the
Oregon coast’s first cidery, which opened in the fall of 2016. Retail
sales and cider tastings were formerly operated out of their nearby
cranberry farm. They will also serve Oregon beers. With the opening
of the taproom, Bandon Rain will expand their line of ciders.
Their team is currently developing a small plate menu featuring
Facerock Creamery’s cheese, with whom they share the parking lot.
Minors are allowed, and outside food is welcome. Currently, the tap-
room is open every day except Tuesday and Wednesday. Check the
website for hours.
