SOUTHERN OREGON MADE
or years, Paula Bandy dreamed of making jewelry. Having been a
Ffashion stylist for a couple of decades, she had baskets of jewelry
tucked away. Then she combined her dream and her treasures to cre-
ate wearable art. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, functional adornment to
set the wearer apart. Her body-vine pieces are just that—designs to
entwine your spirit and wrap your body like a curling vine. She calls
them bravelets because they are brave, bold and beautiful.
Beads—vintage, antique, upcycled, new—find their way into her
work, as well as beads of glass, shell, wood, semi-precious stone,
metal, bone and seed beads.
She believes in rich textures, sensuous colors. And abundance. Each
piece has a story and a name, created under the influence of some
inspiration to Paula, be it a song, a memory, a longing, a dream, dark-
ness, moonlight—even an eclipse.
