PRIMUS & MASTODON

n white suits and masks, in flannels or tees and sunglasses—you
Inever know how Primus and Mastodon will show up. But when they
do, be prepared for awesome hard rock and heavy metal. Both bands
took the Britt stage in late June. And both bands have rubbed shoulders
with some of the country’s biggest names on the rock scene.
Primus started as an underground phenomenon in San Francisco,
their cult growing rapidly. They’ve toured with some of rock’s biggest
names, and headlined the third Lollapalooza Festival.

Mastodon is newer to the rock scene, starting in 2000. Since then, they
made #6 on the Billboard Top 200, received a GRAMMY® Award,
played movie scores, played at numerous music festivals.
The two groups together make for a heart-thumpin’ ride in the world
of rock, played by some truly dedicated musician dudes.
