BAYER FAMILY ESTATE OPENS SCENIC
TASTING ROOM
EAGLE POINT
ayer Family Estate, the newest family-
Bowned tasting room, is open for busi-
ness just outside Eagle Point—a charming
combination of the family’s love for world-
class wine, design, and horses.
“Opening the doors of our tasting room is
a dream come true,” says founder Jim Bayer. “Eight years ago we set
out to plant an estate vineyard that would produce award-winning
wines. Our hard work has turned that dream into a reality. I am so
excited to share our wines, horses, and love of the Rogue Valley
with the world.”
Bayer Family Estate stretches across more than 90 acres. Its imme-
diate proximity to the Rogue River, along with its rich soils and
sun-exposed hills, makes the site ideal for growing Italian varietals
not commonly seen in other parts of Oregon. Meticulous farming,
family engagement and hand harvesting means Bayer family Estate
wines are crafted from the caliber of fruit required to produce con-
HORSEBACK RIDING sistently award-winning artisan wine. Bayer Family Estate debuted
its Brook Horse series in 2013, and the portfolio has since drawn
wide acclaim under the careful hand of winemaker, Eric Weisinger.
