Ting. Sadly, we have lost a few over recent years. The
list is short, as they were only ones called to our attention.
Read their names, smile, and know that our wine region is
better for their contributions. We mention them in tribute,
honoring their accomplishments: Sarah Powell (winemak-
er), Patty Green (winemaker), Porscha Schiller (tasting
room manager), Elizabeth Chambers (owner of a Wil-
lamette Valley winery who championed Southern Oregon
fruit), Julie Hurst (tasting room). We remember them as
individuals, and as women who contributed to Southern
Oregon’s wine industry.
