Food Truck and Now a Storefront
ABA Empanadas began as a passion, a small project. However, it has grown into a
Cbooming business with a food truck and now a storefront restaurant on Central Avenue
in Medford. Argentine natives Gerardo De Fusco and his wife Laura Demercurio. The
name is an acronym for Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos
Aires). They shared a dream of bring the taste of their original hometown to their adopted
hometown, Medford. The young couple knows empanadas and flavors and takes pride in
giving their customers the best. CABA Café has a quiet atmosphere, a place to relax and
enjoy traditional Argentine cuisine. The menu is small and there are weekly specials.
Look for the CABA Empanada food truck at the Rogue Valley Growers and Crafters
Market on Tuesdays in Ashland and Thursdays in Medford thru November.
Give them a try and enjoy great food while adding to your food-style repertoire.
