AND WOMEN OF WINE
Two classes taught by Winemaker
and Sommelier Liz Wan
On Valentine’s Eve, bring your sweetie, or
your buddy for a Broentine’s/Galentine’s
evening of cooking demonstrations and
hands-on cooking with CIA trained Chef,
Lisa Sherrill. Chop, slice, sauté, whisk, sip
and sample, enjoy the meal you prepare.
Participants need to bring sharp knives and
carryout containers, and must be over 21.
Prepare for an instructive, fun and relaxing
evening.
The class is on February 13, 6 – 8:30 p.m.,
at the cafeteria, Redwood Campus, Grants
Pass. RCC credits are available, and the cost
is $35.

The prominence of women’s involvement in
the wine industry will only increase through
the 21st century. Winemaker and sommelier
Liz Wan invites you to join her on March
8 to celebrate International Women’s Day
through her Women of Wine class. She will
take the class through the history of wine,
highlighting the many contributions from SIlHOUETTE
women the world over. Attendees will be
part of the conversation, discussing the JUICY COUTURE
aspects that have led to more and more
women exceeding expectations in the wine LA EYEWORKS
world and, says Liz, “the doors they have COACH
opened for our sisterhood.” Lecture and
discussion will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 KATE SPADE
p.m. with an optional networking, appetizer
and wine reception featuring wines from MAUI JIM
women winemakers throughout our region
to follow. Participants must be 21 or older SMITH
to register and attend.
