inaugural vintage, the 2003 Growers’ Cuvee,
won a platinum medal at the 2005 Greatest of
the Grape competition. The trend continued
with five medals at the 2018 Oregon Wine
Experience. With its distinctive label, a repro-
duction of a 16th-century etching depict-
ing a vineyard worker, the brand has helped
Southern Oregon grow and mature into the
acclaimed region it is today.
New owner, Tony Corallo, is an Ashland native,
long-time member of the Trium wine club
and friend of the former owners. Tony was in
institutional money management in the San
Francisco Bay Area for 27 years. He describes
himself as an oenophile who has always had a
passion for wine. “I’ve spent quite a lot of time
in Napa. Over the last few years, I tried to
think about how to parlay my retirement from
my current job and move into a second career
in the wine business. When Laura (Lotspeich)
decided she wanted to exit the winemaking
business while remaining in the grape-grow-
ing business, the opportunity presented itself
for me to purchase the brand, the website and
everything that went with Trium.”
Corallo invites folks to visit the new tast- THE
ing room. There, you can taste and purchase ENTHUSIAST
award-winning wine flights and wines; enjoy 1OO
local cheeses, seasonal accouterments, and
cured meats; and, relax in the indoor tasting
bar, outdoor patio, garden and fireside seating.
Trium is pet- and family friendly.
